Our latest news:

  •  We got together to celebrate the King's Coronation, with a magic show and a massive tea party! 
  • We've been working hard to build home-school links with a packed programme of events, workshops and activity sessions. 
  • We got together for a brilliant Science Week, which included a whole-school Science Fair, animal sessions led by Teaching Talons, a Knex challenge, lots of workshops and our annual Egg Drop Challenge.    
  • We ended the Spring Term with a fantastic Easter Disco
  •  We've all been doing lots of fundraising this year, including a Dance-a-thon, cake sales, discos and our Christmas Fayre, all designed to raise money for our Trim Trail Fund.   
  • We all got into costume to celebrate this year's World Book Day, dressing-up as some of our favourite storybook characters - everyone from Harry Potter to Elmer the Elephant!  
  • Years 1 and 2 worked hard to make their Christmas show a massive hit, performing Baubles to a series of packed audiences!
  •  School Council planted a new community orchard as part of the Queen's Green Canopy project.
  • Our production of The Lion King was a big hit, with over 400 tickets sold across 3 brilliant performances and every member of Keystage 2 involved.

Sports news

We love getting involved every sporting opportunity that comes our way, from football to gymnastics to hockey to dance. Here's a sample of what we've been up to recently:   

  • In a busy few weeks, we hosted the Stevenage Schools Football Year 3/4 Tournament, FA Cup Final and end-of-season presentations.     
  • We tried out a wide range of sports with our Sports Week challenges.
  • Year 5 and 6 all took part in the Bikeability project, learning to ride safely both on the playground and local roads.
