Our latest news:

  • We've all been doing loads of fundraising this year, including a Dance-a-thon, cake sales, discos and our Christmas and Summer Fayres - and, with the support of some local trusts, we've raised the £16,000 needed to secure our new trim trail!     
  • Our production of Aladdin was a big hit, with over 340 tickets sold across 3 brilliant performances and every member of Keystage 2 involved.
  • Year 6 had an amazing time on their PGL residential weekend, climbing, raft-building, abseiling and trying out loads of incredible activities that they'd never be able to experience at home. 
  • This year's Sports Week was packed with competitions, taster-sessions and new activities - as well as our 3 fantastic Sports Days.    
  • We ended the school year with a fantastic Summer Disco
  • We got together to celebrate the King's Coronation, with a magic show and a massive tea party! 
  • We've been working hard to build home-school links with a packed programme of events, workshops and activity sessions. 
  • We got together for a brilliant Science Week, which included a whole-school Science Fair, animal sessions led by Teaching Talons, a Knex challenge, lots of workshops and our annual Egg Drop Challenge.    
  • We all got into costume to celebrate this year's World Book Day, dressing-up as some of our favourite storybook characters - everyone from Harry Potter to Elmer the Elephant!  
  • School Council planted a new community orchard as part of the Queen's Green Canopy project.

Sports news

We love getting involved every sporting opportunity that comes our way, from football to gymnastics to hockey to dance. Here's a sample of what we've been up to recently:   

  • We tried out a wide range of sports with our Sports Week challenges. 
  • In a busy few weeks, we hosted the Stevenage Schools Football Year 3/4 Tournament, FA Cup Final and end-of-season presentations.     
  • Year 5 and 6 all took part in the Bikeability project, learning to ride safely both on the playground and local roads.
