Fundraising Success

Thanks to our fantastic fundraising efforts last year, our new Trim Trail was installed on the field over the summer - and that also meant that we’d emptied out the School Council fund and needed to start topping it up again!

Fortunately, everyone pulled together amazingly to support our first big community event of the year, our Christmas Fayre. Both halls were packed, a vast amount of toys, games and prizes had been donated (we’d never seen that many teddy bears before), Santa put in a big shift in the grotto and, as a result, we collected £1698! A massive thank you to everyone who contributed, helped-out or attended.

Elsewhere, our non-uniform day collected £212 for Children in Need, our coffee afternoon raised £100 for Macmillan Cancer Support and all of the poppies and badges we sold for Remembrance Day brought in £115 for the Royal British Legion. Again, a big thank you to everyone who helped us to support these fantastic charities.
